RSD8: Relating Systems Thinking and Design Symposium

Systems Change for Governance

Join us for RSD8, the eighth annual symposium of Relating Systems Thinking and Design (RSD) of the Systemic Design Association (SDA). This year’s three day event will take place in Chicago, IL at IIT Institute of Design’s new home, the Ed Kaplan Family Institute for Innovation and Tech Entrepreneurship.

With returning colleagues and new friends, we'll spend 3 days explore cutting edge methods and design practices for systems change, interdisciplinary research, and real-world contexts where organizational behavior, social entrepreneurship, policymaking, and design are already colliding. Workshops and activity groups bring new tools and methodologies to evolve our individual and collective points of view about leadership and transformative practices—for complex challenges—in design collaboration.

If you can’t attend all three days, tickets are available for just Day Two, where you can take in keynote speakers, participate in the Charles Owen Tribute and Reception, and visit the systems maps and prototypes in the Community Gallery.
