Robin Kwong

Robin is Product Director of Data Services at Yahoo News, where he leads a team developing new tools, ranking, and other products that use data to provide context and guide people through everyday decisions.

A longtime journalist at The Wall Street Journal and the Financial Times before he became a product leader, Robin has always worked at the cutting edge of technology, information, and design. He created The Uber Game, an award-winning news game about the experience of full-time Uber drivers that has been played by more than half a million people. He is the author of Project Management in Newsrooms, a practical guide to executing complex projects within the fast-moving journalism environments, and he is co-founder of the Contemporary Narratives Lab, which brings artists, journalists, and researchers together to create works that explore new ways of storytelling that support healthier societies.
