Recently a lot of attention is being given to the idea of "Smart Cities" prompted by massively growing trends in urban migration and pervasive technologies. With what we know and do as designers, how can we contribute to this idea of building tomorrow's smart cities? What are some of the mindsets needed? IIT Institute of Design professor Vijay Kumar will share some of his perspectives, particularly based on his recent experiences with government innovations. Presentation will be followed by Q&A and refreshments.
