From the Dove soap bar to a more inclusive work environment, ID @85: 85 Years of Making the Future is an exhibition of 85 artifacts demonstrating ID’s historic role in shaping our everyday and beyond since October 19, 1937. Todd Cooke (MDes + MBA 2020), Ashley Lukasik, producer of the documentary The New Bauhaus, Tanner Woodford, Executive Director of the Design Museum of Chicago and Curator of ID@85, and Alec Nevala-Lee, author of Inventor of the Future: The Visionary Life of Buckminster Fuller (HarperCollins, August 2022), discuss ID’s legacy and what it means for our future.
