Come hear how Doug van der Molen went from IIT Institute of Design to become a recognized design leader in the Big Data space. Doug will share stories and insights about his experiences as a student at ID to leading the design on Google Analytics to co-founding the startup ClearStory Data.
About Doug
Before joining ClearStory Data, Doug led the user experience for Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and other Google Ads products. Doug’s designs have helped millions of people intuitively understand and utilize data to make key decisions. He holds several design patents related to data visualization. Prior to Google, Doug was a key member of the team at MeasureMap, which was acquired by Google in 2006. He received a Master of Design from IIT Institute of Design.
