recruitID was born out of a student-identified need more than 10 years ago. As ID students saw the demand for human-centered design and innovation continue to grow, they realized that they required a venue for interaction with hiring organizations.
In the most recent recruitID, in October 2023, ID’s Career Services connected graduate students with more than 20 organizations, including Accenture Song, the City of Chicago, Ford, Myriad Genetics, Northern Trust, Publicis Sapient, and United Airlines.
Organizations participating in recruitID typically seek to hire professionals with titles like Design Strategist, Design Researcher, and UX Designer. These positions are often focused on design- and business-led innovation driven by insights that prioritize context and user needs.
