Charles Harrison Fellowship
Charles Harrison Fellowship
The Charles Harrison Fellowship honors Charles Harrison (MS 1963), who was among the first Black industrial designers of his era and the first Black executive at Sears.
This fellowship provides financial support to ID students who are U.S. residents with distinct intellectual and creative perspectives.
Charles Harrison’s design genius surrounds us in everyday objects: from the now archetypal plastic trash can to cordless shavers, clear measuring cups, and the iconic View-Master toy.
Throughout his career, he left his mark on more than 750 products.
