Creating inclusive design for education
Bloxology is an interactive, educational game designed as a learning companion for 6th-graders learning biology. It comprises multiple levels that teach various class topics such as animal migration, climate, ecosystems, and more. The full experience is delivered on a tablet-based app that works with a physical gameboard.
This project is one of the main projects for Introduction to Interaction Design, where our team was challenged to create an inclusive and immersive learning experience for elementary school students on animal migration. For five weeks, our team explored various ways to deliver this content, striving to optimize for accessible and interactive qualities.
