Mapping the barriers faced by Hispanic/Latinx families to access ECE in Nebraska

Tasked with creating a systems map that would benefit the Buffett Institute of Early Childhood, our group delved into early childhood education access in Nebraska. We chose to examine the accessibility for Hispanic/Latinx families, who unequivocally face low enrollment rates across the state. This journey map shows the barriers to access throughout the user journey by identifying the drivers behind these barriers and investigating the systemic forces that influence them. This map is crucial in helping us identify key opportunity areas to help increase enrollment rates for families.
