Orbital Future

In the year 2035, the car industry is expected to undergo significant change. It is forecasted that vehicles will operate autonomously and will run on electric power. The advancement of autonomous vehicle (AV) technology will redefine the modes of driving without compromising passenger safety and efficiency. The implementation of vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication infrastructure, including vehicle-to-infrastructure, vehicle-to-vehicle, vehicle-to-pedestrian, and vehicle-to-network communication will enable seamless interaction between the user and the vehicle.

This prototype provides a vision for the user interface for switching between auto and manual modes, as auto mode becomes the new default mode for vehicles, while still keeping manual mode as an available option.
