April 19, 2022

Plant. Eat. Repeat.

With Earth Day 2022 and ID’s fourth annual Lucas J. Daniel Lecture in Sustainable Systems approaching, ID faculty and MDM (Master of Design Methods) students dove into a three-day discussion of Design + Climate Change. Catch a glimpse:

MDM Immersion: Climate Change + Design

Participants in this MDM Immersion heard from ID faculty Weslynne AshtonJeremy AlexisRuth Schmidt, and Anijo Mathew, as well as Maureen Stroud, a member of the Council on Climate Solutions at the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy and founder and managing director of Shinka Sustainability Consultants, and an alumnus of ID’s MDes + MBA dual-degree program, Brandon Schauer, who is SVP, US Climate Change at Rare.

We are at the forefront of the movement for designing with purpose.
