Exploring the Horizon 3 innovation strategy for Northwestern Mutual

Northwestern Mutual (NM) enlisted our team to identify innovation opportunities that could help them leverage technology trends in their business. We analyzed how artificial intelligence (AI) technologies could intersect with NM’s service experience to achieve this goal. Our team developed a range of strategies to improve the relationship between NM’s financial representatives and clients, aiming to increase client retention. Our research identified several key areas where AI could enhance NM’s service experience, including personalized recommendations, automated assistance, and streamlined communication. By leveraging these strategies, NM can improve customer satisfaction, deepen client relationships, and boost its bottom line. Our recommendations highlight the importance of integrating AI into NM’s service model while ensuring that the technology supports, rather than replaces, human interaction and expertise.
